CHANGING MINDS ~ DEMENTIA CONSULTING

Dementia descends like a fog for many people. The once familiar ebb and flow of one’s thoughts, ideas and plans soften and blur. At first, memory slides out of focus; then impairment of other mental functions becomes apparent. The elder, and everyone involved with them, can become disoriented – family members and care providers may ask:

“Which decisions can be trusted?”
“Which daily tasks are at risk?”
“How can we manage these difficult behaviors?”

I help to answer questions concerning daily care, supervision and behavior management of elders who have dementia.
